เมื่อวันที่ 4 พฤศจิกายน 2555 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน ร่วมกับมูลนิธิคณะสงฆ์เถรวาท (วัดป่า) แห่งโปรตุเกส จัดพิธีทอดผ้าป่า ณ สำนักสงฆ์เถรวาท กรุงลิสบอน โดยมีนายชาคร สุชีวะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และครอบครัว ตลอดจนคนไทยที่พำนักอยู่ในโปรตุเกส รวมทั้งชาวโปรตุเกสที่สนใจพระพุทธศาสนาเข้าร่วมงาน จำนวนประมาณ 100 คน ทั้งนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมงานมีโอกาสได้ร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ ได้แก่ ทำบุญใส่บาตร ฟังธรรมเทศนาจากพระอาจารย์วชิโร หัวหน้าสำนักสงฆ์ สนทนา/หรือธรรมะกับพระสงฆ์ ตลอดจนชมนิทรรศการและวิดีทัศน์เกี่ยวกับพระพุทธศาสนาด้วย

On 4 November 2012, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon and the Forest Theravada Buddhist – Religious Community jointly organized a Robe-offering Ceremony (Tod Pah Bah) at the Theravada Monastery in Lisbon. On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Chakorn Suchiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Portugal, along with the Embassy’s diplomats, members of Thai community living in Portugal and Portuguese publics attended the ceremony. The participants of around 100 people had the opportunities to do various activities, such as offering food to monks, listening to Dhamma talk by Ajahn Vajiro, Head of the Monastery, inquiring Dhamma practice with monks, viewing exhibition and watching video presentation about Buddhism.
