On the occasion of Thailand assuming the chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Lisbon, Portugal (ACLP) for the first half of 2026, H.E. Mrs. Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Portugal, hosted a luncheon in honour of the ACLP Committee, which comprises Ambassadors of ASEAN member countries residing in Portugal, namely the Philippines, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and Viet Nam, as well as officials from ACLP member countries. The event took place on 20 March 2026 at the Ambassador’s Residence. In this regard the Ambassadors discussed upcoming activities to be jointly carried out by the ACLP during Thailand’s chairmanship and exchanged views on the current political and economic situation.
