วันที่ 5 ธันวาคม 2557 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน จัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 87 พรรษา ของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ณ โรงแรม Marriott Lisboa โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานจำนวนประมาณ 200 คน ประกอบด้วย ผู้แทนระดับสูงของรัฐบาลโปรตุเกส คณะทูตานุทูต ผู้บริหารหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน นักธุรกิจ ผู้แทนองค์กรด้านวัฒนธรรมและการศึกษา สื่อมวลชน และชุมชนไทยในโปรตุเกส

On 5 December 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon hosted a reception on the auspicious occasion of the 87th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the National Day of Thailand at Hotel Marriott Lisboa. Around 200 guests attended the event, including high-ranking representatives from the Portuguese authorities, government officials, diplomatic corps, businessmen, representative from cultural and educational sectors, local media and members of Thai community in Portugal.
