เมื่อวันที่ 18-22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2556 คณะผู้แทนกระทรวงการคลัง ซึ่งมีนายมานิต นิธิประทีป รองอธิบดีกรมสรรพากร เดินทางเยือนโปรตุเกสเพื่อเข้าร่วมการเจรจาอนุสัญญา เพื่อการเว้นการเก็บภาษีซ้อนไทย-โปรตุเกส และในโอกาสดังกล่าว นายชาคร สุชีวะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอนได้เลี้ยงอาหารค่ำเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่คณะด้วย

On 18-22 February 2013, Delegation from Ministry of Finance, led by Mr. Manit Nitiprateep, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Revenue, visited Portugal to attend the negotiation on the Convention between the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Republic of Portugal for the Avoidance and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion. On this occasion, H.E. Ambassador Chakorn Suchiva hosted a dinner in honour of the delegation.
