เมื่อวันที่ 31 ม.ค. – 3 ก.พ. 2556 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จัดกิจกรรม “ทีมประเทศไทยสัญจรในโปรตุเกส เพื่อให้ผู้แทนหน่วยงานไทย “ทีมประเทศไทย” ที่รับผิดชอบดูแลความสัมพันธ์ด้านเศรษฐกิจการค้าและการลงทุนมีโอกาสทราบถึงศักยภาพและโอกาสทางการค้าการลงทุนระหว่างไทยและโปรตุเกส ตลอดจนเปิดโอกาสให้พบหารือด้านธุรกิจ การค้าและการลงทุนกับนักธุรกิจโปรตุเกส โดยการดำเนินโครงการดังกล่าว นอกจาก นายชาคร สุชีวะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน และขรก. สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ แล้ว มี คกก. บริหารฯ ที่มี สนง. ตั้งอยู่ในประเทศต่างๆ และมีเขตอาณาดูแลโปรตุเกสเข้าร่วมด้วย ได้แก่ นายประคัลร์ กอดำรงค์ อทป. (ฝ่ายการพาณิชย์) สคร. ณ กรุงมาดริด และนางจินจณา โอสถธนากร อทป. (ฝ่ายส่งเสริมการลงทุน) สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุน ณ กรุงปารีส นอกจากนี้ นายสมชาย เตรียมชัยพิสุทธิ์ รอง กก. ผจก. การค้าต่างประเทศ เขตยุโรป บมจ. เจริญโภคภัณฑ์อาหาร (CPF) สนง. กรุงมาดริด เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในฐานะภาคเอกชนไทยด้วย

กิจกรรม Roadshow ดังกล่าวประกอบด้วยการจัดให้ทีมประเทศไทยได้พบหารือทางธุรกิจกับนักธุรกิจในกรุงลิสบอนและเมืองปอร์โตที่สนใจทำการค้าและการลงทุนกับไทย การเยี่ยมชมกิจการของ Amorim & Irmaos, S.A. ซึ่งเป็นผลิตสินค้าและผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้คอร์กรายใหญ่ที่สุดในโปรตุเกส และกิจการของ Gropo Simoldes ซึ่งเป็นผู้ผลิตตัวหล่อแบบ (mold) ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในยุโรป และใช้เทคโนโลยีขั้นสูงในอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตชิ้นส่วน/อุปกรณ์สำหรับรถยนต์ ของใช้ในครัวเรือน ไฟฟ้า ฯลฯ  ตลอดจนการประชุมคณะกรรมการบริหารฯ เพื่อหารือแผนงานการส่งเสริมและดูแลผลประโยชน์ของไทยในโปรตุเกสทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้าการลงทุน และวัฒนธรรม

On 31 January – 3 February 2013, Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon, organized “Team Thailand Roadshow in Portugal”. “Team Thailand” in Lisbon is led by H.E. Mr. Chakorn Suchiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Portugal, the Embassy’s diplomats and representatives of Thai government agencies responsible for Portugal.    At this occasion, Mr. Prakhan Kordumrong, Director of Thai Trade Center in Madrid and Ms. Jinchana Osottanakorn, Director of Thailand Board of Investment in Paris, joined the activity. In addition, Mr. Somchai Triamchaipisut, Senior Vice President, International Trade Business (European Zone), Charoen Pokphand Foods, PCL. (CPF) in Spain, also participated in the project.

The project aims to provide opportunities for the Thai public agencies to understand more about trade, investment and business prospect in Portugal. The team Thailand met with the Portuguese businesspersons in Lisbon and Porto and discussed about business and trade opportunities between the two countries. Furthermore, the “Team Thailand” visited the production site in Porto of  Amorim & Irmaos, S.A., the Portuguese’s leading cork producer as well as the factory of Simoldes Group, Europe’s largest mold producer.  In addition, Team Thailand meeting was held to discuss about plans to promote more trade, investment and cultural relations between Thailand and Portugal in 2013.
