เมื่อวันที่ 13 กันยายน 2555 นายชาคร สุชีวะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้าร่วมชมภาพยนตร์เรื่อง “ลัดดาแลนด์” ในโอกาสที่ภาพยนตร์ดังกล่าวเข้าร่วมฉายในเทศกาลภาพยนตร์สยองขวัญนานาชาติ   ครั้งที่ 6 ที่โรงภาพยนตร์เซาต์จอร์จ (Sao Jorge) กรุงลิสบอน

ทั้งนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ให้การสนับสนุนการนำภาพยนตร์สยองขวัญของไทยเข้าร่วมในเทศกาลภาพยนตร์สยองขวัญกรุงลิสบอน ประเทศโปรตุเกส เป็นเวลา 5 ปีติดต่อกัน และในปีนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมกับ Cineclube de Terror de Lisboa ซึ่งเป็นคณะผู้จัดงานเทศกาลฯ นำภาพยนตร์ไทยเรื่อง “ลัดดาแลนด์” ซึ่งเป็นภาพยนตร์สยองขวัญที่ได้รับความนิยมมากที่สุดในปี 2554 มาร่วมฉายในเทศกาลภาพยนตร์ฯ ซึ่งมีภาพยนตร์จากต่างประเทศเข้าร่วมฉายจำนวน 35 เรื่อง

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้จัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองอาหารไทยให้แก่ ผู้เข้าชมภาพยนตร์ ซึ่งมีประมาณ 400 คน ทั้งนี้ ก่อนการฉายภาพยนตร์คณะผู้จัดงานได้กล่าวแสดงความขอบคุณในความร่วมมือระหว่างกันที่มีมาอย่างยาวนานกว่า 5 ปี และภายหลังจากการฉายภาพยนตร์ ผู้ชมต่างแสดงความประทับใจภาพยนตร์ซึ่งสะท้อนทัศนคติและค่านิยมของสังคมไทยในยุคปัจจุบัน

On 13 September 2012, H.E. Mr. Chakorn Suchiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Portugal, together with the Embassy’s diplomats and staff, participated in the screening of the Thai horror film “Laddaland” at the 6^th International Festival of Horror Films of Lisbon (MOTELx) at Sao Jorge Theater in Lisbon.

The Royal Thai Embassy and Cineclube de Terror de Lisboa continue their close partnership by arranging the screening of the film “Laddaland” - one of the Thailand’s most successful horror films in 2011 – at the MOTELx Film festival, along with 35 other international’s horror films.

On this occasion, the audience of around 400 people enjoyed Thai food reception, organized by the Embassy before the screening. Furthermore, a director of the Cineclube de Terror de Lisboa expressed, prior to the screening, his appreciation for the five-consecutive-year of the Embassy’s partnership and support. At the end of the screening, the audiences were impressed with the film as it reflected attitude and social value of the Thai society.
