On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua attaining the same age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I) on 14th date of January 2025, H.E. Mrs. Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Ambassador Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to Portugal, and the Embassy officials presided over the Buddhist chanting and making offering ceremonies, conducted by venerable Ajarn Vajiro, abbot of Sumedharam Monastery and the monks on 18 January 2025, later on the Ambassador together with the official staff donated food and essential supplies to Refood organization in Carnaxide, which provides food and essentials to more than 40 families in need. On this auspicious occasion, the ambassador and the official staff also signed a well-wishing book at the Embassy.
