On 28 January 2025, Mr. Valdemar Meirinho Gonçalves, Honorary Consul of Thailand at Porto and Mr. Anake Kijjao, Emeritus Professor, University of Porto, had a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Kanokwan Pengsuwan, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Portugal, at the Thai Residence, to extend their congratulations on her assumption of duty. During the meeting, they discussed ways to foster Thai economic, academic and consular activities to enhance the strength of Thai community in city of Porto and nearby.
