On 10 January 2024, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to Portugal, met with Ms. Ana Fernandes, President of Board of Directors, Instituto da Cooperação da Lingua (Camões), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Portugal, at Camões.

 

During the meeting, both side discussed ways to enhance South-South and triangular Cooperation between Thailand, Portugal and Timor-Leste in the areas where Thailand and Portugal have expertise.

 

Moreover, both sides agreed to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries and promote Portuguese language teaching in universities in Thailand.
