The Royal Thai Embassy has coordinated with the family of Mr. Banjong Thotkhui regarding his cremation. On 31st October 2024, Ajahn Vajiro, Abbot of Sumedharam Monastery and monks from the Monastery performed a religious ceremony related to the cremation at Rio de Mouro Crematorium. On this occasion, Mr. Tanaphum Leelaporn, Counsellor, representative of the Embassy along with the Thai community participated in the cremation ceremony. The Embassy wishes to express our heartfelt condolences for the passing of Mr. Banjong and hereby extend our gratitude to the Sumedharam Monastery and Thai community.
