เมื่อวันที่ 24 พฤศจิกายน 2556 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน ร่วมกับมูลนิธิคณะสงฆ์เถรวาท (วัดป่า) แห่งโปรตุเกส จัดกิจกรรมทอดผ้าป่า ณ สำนักสงฆ์เถรวาท ซึ่งปัจจุบันตั้งอยู่ที่เมือง Ericeira โดยมีนายชาคร สุชีวะ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการและลูกจ้างสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ชุมชนไทยในโปรตุเกส และชาวโปรตุเกสที่สนใจพระพุทธศาสนา เข้าร่วมงานจำนวนประมาณ 100 คน

ผู้เข้าร่วมงานมีโอกาสได้ร่วมทำบุญตักบาตรแก่พระสงฆ์ซึ่งพำนักอยู่ ณ สำนักสงฆ์ ร่วมกันถวายผ้าป่า ตลอดจนร่วมกิจกรรมลอยกระทง และรื่นเริงกับการละเล่นเก้าอี้ดนตรี 

ทั้งนี้ งานทอดผ้าป่าครั้งนี้รวมเงินทำบุญได้ 5,404.59 ยูโร 

 

On 24 November 2013, Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon and the Forest Theravada Buddhist – Religious Community organized a Robe-offering Ceremony (Tod Pah Bah) at the Theravada Monastery in Ericeira. H.E. Ambassador Chakorn Suchiva, the Embassy's diplomats and staff, members of Thai community in Portugal and Portuguese public of around 100 people attended the ceremony.

The activity included food offering ceremony and off-season robe offering ceremony. The participants also enjoyed "Loi Krathong" activity and Musical chairs game.

This "Tod Pah Bah" ceremony managed to raise 5,404.59 Euros to the Forest Tharavada Buddhist - Religious Ceremony.
